Glad to see that the Herriot Way has been elevated to an LDW! Certainly if you have never done a LDW before I can reccomend it as a good starting point. Even if you have it is a very enjoyable walk. I did it with my wife in 2007 and you can find our account at:

Nice pics/details John and thanks for yours too Pete.
I'm walking the HW on 21st June 2010. Camping at Hawes, Keld and Reeth. When I get to Aysgarth I'll have a nice bed at Field House B&B. Can't wait! |
