Judith Ventress, Intake Farm, Littlebeck, Whitby, North Yorkshire YO22 5HA. Tel 01847 810273.
I have read about the debate as to whether you stay in Grosmont or Littlebeck on the last night of your C2C walk. Debate over - Intake Farm is the very good freason why you should stay at Littlebeck. This is a working Farm and has a wonderful homely and famly feel about it. Judith and her husband Robert work very hard on both sides of their business. The welcome from Judith was brilliant and you are made to feel part of the home straight away. The evening meal was outstanding in every respect and simuilarly the breakfast was first class. The accommodation was excellent. You are missing out if you miss this gem of a B & B that provides first class evening meals. |

| My second stay with Judith and Robert - this time with 2 colleagues. Standards remain excellent and I would suggest this ought to be one of the first places to book. The evening meal was once again first class. The added bonus of staying here of course is that you get the Grosmont hill out of the way making the last day easy. |

| Stayed at Judith's in Sept 09 on the C2C. Echo the sentiments above in every respect and the getting the Grosmont hill out of the way really enabled us to flavour the last day into RHB! |

Tex Gore and I stayed here in May 2009 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Tex got reading one of the books from the guest lounge and asked Judith if he could buy it to continue reading - she refused!
That is she refused to take any money for it
What a great stop and agree it makes for an easier final day too. Although Grosmont hill at the end of the day is interesting _________________

| I've camped at Intake Farm, in May and September last year and always welcomed there. Nice cup of tea and cake on arrival and hope to camp there again my forecoming Coast to Coast walk this summer. |
